So, my son is eight months old now, Alhamdulillah. He makes me laugh, makes me smile, he lights up my life and my heart. He also, pinches, churns, pulls, bites, and stretches my nipple like its made of some kind of super rubber.
My husband cringes when he sees him, and tells me to please make him stop, and how can I take that. The truth, I’m basically numb by now. I mean, I tried to measure the distance of the pull one time, almost as long as my index finger. He pulls, and snaps off, and looks at me and smiles. THen he pinches them, squirts some milk aroound and pounces back on.
Yes, I say pounce, because he prefers to do a mizture of sit, then stand, then roll, then sit, and punce back on to the nipple as he nurses. Honestly…its pretty darn funny, but i try not to laugh as not to encourage him, because when he bites, that’s no laughing matter.
I told a friend the other day and she laughed that she’d seen worse.
She has a friend whos sone must see both breasts while nursing. He pinches and plays with one, as he sips the other, and constantly swithces between the two. All I could do is laugh.
The things we do for our bambinos.
Gotta love them…even though my boobs will never, ever be the same.
